HISTORY OF THE CLUB

Each founder invested shares into the creation of the Jacques Cariter Club. One of the original shares from Antonio Gauthier from 1936 is shown on the left.

The Club was originally established as a men's club, with only men holding status to run and vote in club affairs. While woman could not vote, they did participate and made up the Ladies Auxillary. In 2025, woman were given the right to vote equal with male members, and in 2026 the first female member was elected President.
